My First Published Article!

I posted my first article at http://www.articlesbase.com/!

It is called "Is Social Media Marketing Worth Your Time?" and it is currently under review for publication. I have to admit, it is pretty cool! I am looking forward to seeing it.

The toughest part about it was that articlesbase.com requires the article contain at least 350 characters!

The only other time I have been "published" was when my tip for using Post It Notes was used in their book, "Ideas That Stick!"

So You Need Help in Your Business!

Are you so bogged down in the day-to-day administrative tasks of running your own business that you don’t have time to actually BUILD your business? You need help!

Maybe you don't have the funds to hire help. Maybe you don't have the office space or the equipment you would need to add an employee to your business. Maybe you cringe at the idea of payroll taxes, employee benefits and Worker's Comp insurance.
A Virtual Assistant is an independent contractor whose business is to support you and help you make your business successful.  She is an expert with the experience and knowledge to hit the ground running when you need her. And you aren’t paying her when you don’t need her!

So What is a Virtual Assistant Anyway?

According to the International Virtual Assistants Association, “A Virtual Assistant (VA) is an independent entrepreneur providing administrative, creative and/or technical services. Utilizing advanced technological modes of communication and data delivery, a professional VA assists clients in his/her area of expertise from his/her own office on a contractual bases.”
The VA is a skilled professional who is actually in business to support the client and his or her business. The core service and true value of a Virtual Assistant is the collaborative working relationship between the VA and the Client. Most VAs work to build long term relationships with their clients in order to provide continual services for that client’s business. And those services are tailored to fit that client’s particular needs.

The Virtual Assistant and the client are actually working together to build the client's business!
